Example of Amish Wooden Train, Actual Train May Have Slight Variation
Children's Wooden Train Addition
to Museum Grounds Approved!

Snippet written by Becky Tycz in her article from the Tyndall Tribune & Register newspaper from the July City of Tyndall Council Meeting:

"Ron and Janet Wagner, on behalf of the Bon Homme Heritage Association, met with the council regarding museum items. First of all the Wagners asked for permission to place an Amish wooden train on the tracks at Railroad Park. All the costs for the 45 foot, six piece wood train playground set will be handled by the heritage association through donations and matching money from an anonymous donor at a cost of $5000. Mark Misar and his ag classes have agreed to assemble the train set if needed." (full article can be found in the July 8, 2020 newspaper edition)

We are so excited to announce the blessing of this addition to our facilities! We hope this will help cultivate an interest in history in our local youth and beyond. We look forward to sharing more on the progress of this project as we move ahead.
