Equipment Upgrade Project

The Bon Homme Heritage Museum in conjunction with the Tyndall Library are in the midst of acquiring an equipment upgrade.

Currently, the library relies on an outdated "analog" microfilm reader and the museum lacks the capability of creating and sharing digital content with the public.

The planned equipment upgrade would include the procurement of: a 18 megapixel digital imager with editing software, book scanner, and a flatbed scanner. This equipment would enable the easy clipping and saving of articles, as well as allowing the museum archive team to digitize photographs, manuscripts, and limited edition publications that would then be available to the public through the library computer. This vastly enhances user access, and hopefully engages school instructors and students.

This equipment is the latest technology, and should be installed by late July.

But we need your help! We are short of funds for this project. Please consider making a donation that we can continue to improve the museum, library, and local history!
